Providing technical assistance to seniors in Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, and Henderson
Geeks for seniors in Las Vegas. I dislike that term but realize others may like it so include it as hidden text
Hi, my name is Marvin and I have been helping people solve computer and technology problems for 30+ years; starting with the IBM PC and the Apple II+ in the early 1980’s. As a college student in New York City, I was using email and sending electronic messages to friends all over the country as early as 1981. The vast majority of my adult career has been working with companies ranging in sizes from under ten employees to hundreds of employees.
In the late 1990s and early 2000s, I started a successful consulting company providing tech support services to small companies in the Silicon Valley region. At its peak, we serviced 25 different companies and had three employees. While those companies are gone, I still count several of the individuals as personal friends and many remain as current clients.
I relocated to the Las Vegas area in 2014 and have noticed a great local need for technology help, especially by seniors. I have helped both friends and acquaintances, as well as strangers I meet during everyday travels with all sorts of questions and problems ranging from fixing misbehaving computers to teaching the use of cell phones, tablets, and gadgets. I enjoy taking the mystery out of modern technology for people. For GenarianTech, I’m combining my love for technology with my love for interacting with people, mixed with lots of patience and personable communication for a successful resolution to any tech question or problem.
